Olea Traditional Guesthouse Mani

Olea Stone House is located at the fortified settlement of Fourniata, in Pirgos Dirou, 7 km from Aeropolis and very close to Diros Caves. It is a fully restored building of 1858, which was converted into a traditional guesthouse with 4 rooms fully equipped with all modern amenities.

Its construction was made with love and a lot of personal work with respect to the environment and the need for rest and relaxation of the modern people living in the cities. Our goal was to build a place that combines the traditions of Mani with all modern facilities; hence, the natural stone, the wood and the flowing fabrics are the dominant elements in the rooms.

Here you may enjoy a comfortable romantic stay in traditional accommodation, but also introduce yourself to the beauty of nature and earth. Live a unique holiday experience at the fringe of Taygetos in a comfortable accommodation, which is an excellent starting point for exploring the typical rocky environment of western Mani with the imposing towers and the endless olive tree areas. Olea Stone House consists of two rooms and two fully equipped studios for 2-4 persons and may accommodate 10 persons in total. They are fully aligned with the traditional architecture, comfortable and with a simple, romantic decoration, ideal especially for couples. Old and modern are ideally coupled, aiming to make your stay comfortable, offering to you unique moments of relaxation and tranquility.

LIAKO - Superior studio for 2 at the top of the tower with private veranda

‘Liako’ means veranda, enclosed balcony seen by the sun. ‘Liako’ is the highest room of the tower (24 sq.m.) located on the 3rd floor, with its own private veranda with a view to the sea and the mountain. It features a king size four-posted bed, bathroom with hydro-massage shower, hair dryer, towels, toiletries, heating and cooling facilities, smart TV 32'', safe-deposit, fully equipped kitchen, small dining area and energy fireplace. GAIA - Studio for 2 on the 1st floor

‘Gaia’ means earth. ‘Gaia’ is one of the largest rooms of the guesthouse on the 1st floor (24 sq.m.) and it was named so because of the prevailing earth tones of the decoration. It features a king size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds, bathroom with hydro-massage shower, hair dryer, towels, toiletries, heating and cooling facilities, smart TV 32'', safe-deposit, fully equipped kitchen, small dining area and energy fireplace. In addition, it offers free WiFi and wired Internet access as well as an innovative wireless communication system for failures and deficiencies and online registration of customer satisfaction.

THEA - Family room (2-4 persons) with balcony on the 2nd floor

‘Thea’ (which means view) was so named because of its balcony that offers a view to the village and the mountain. It is located on the 1st floor of the guesthouse (14 sq.m.) and is ideal for a family with 2 children or a group of 3-4 persons. It features a double bed and a semi-double separate mattress in the traditional attic, bathroom with hydro-massage shower, hair dryer, towels, toiletries, heating and cooling facilities, smart TV 32'', safe-deposit, fridge, kettle, all things required for preparing coffee and hot drinks and energy fireplace. ROUGA - Room for 2 on the ground floor with private veranda

‘Rouga’ was typically located in central parts of the village and was the place where the villagers met each other in the afternoon. It was built on the walls of towers overlooking the street. ‘Rouga’ is located on the ground floor of the guesthouse (14 sq.m.) and has its own private veranda; hence, the name thereof. It features two single beds that can be converted into a king size bed with a top-mattress, bathroom with hydro-massage shower, hair dryer, towels, toiletries, heating and cooling facilities, smart TV 32'', safe-deposit, fridge, kettle, all things required for preparing coffee and hot drinks and energy fireplace. In addition, it offers free WiFi and wired Internet access as well as an innovative wireless communication system for failures and deficiencies and online registration of customer satisfaction.
